I finally found it! The little program I have been looking for for over a year now. An easy to use, free, image resizing tool to help real estate agents upload to the MLS. The main MLS in our area (Monmouth MLS) has size limit on the photos you can upload to their system. If you can not easily resize your photos and upload them quickly, they will not be appearing as soon as they should on the 100’s of websites that pull from the MLS directly.

Technorati.com is a website that indexes all the blogs around the world. People have the ability to create their own free account with them and keep current on all their favorite blogs on the internet. It is also a handy way for blog owners to keep track of how many other bloggers out there reference and link to their own blog. Technorati has developed 2 main ways of displaying a blog’s popularity. The first is the Authority of the blog, that shows how many other blogs on the internet have linked to the blog in question. Second is the Blog’s Ranking, that displays the blogs rank in comparison to every single blog in the world. For those that would like to put their Technorati stats right on their blogs, Doug Karr has done some good work with plugins and scripts to do just that.

If you have Windows XP (which most people do at the time of this article), then you have the Windows Movie Maker. It has probably been sitting on your computer for years without you really knowing it’s potential. Especially for Real Estate agents, this will become a very handy feature to put videos of your listings onto YouTube.com and Realtor.com (more…)
