Google Apps: Updated

Google Apps is a web service provided by Google to business owners. It provides G-mail, GoogleCalendar, docs & spreadsheets, & GoogleTalk in a centralized location via customized “Start Page” that resembles iGoogle but is branded with your personal logo and domain name. You can designate an admin of the domain and they will have access to globally change user account/passwords across all these services as well as see how much of the email quota each user is taking up.

The basic services of Google Apps is available for free to any company that sends in a request to Google. The higher “Premium” version costs $50/user (per year) and adds in 10GB e-mail storage per user, 99.9% up-time guarantee, Optional text adverts (instead of mandatory), shared address-book, and migration tools.

Just recently, Google has updated this suite of business class web apps to make it easier for businesses to switch over.
